Back from the Dead

Not so much dead, I guess, as just plain overwhelmed. But don't cry for me. This, too, shall pass...in about 16 years or so, I'm told. I'm posting these pics in response to all the snooty little remarks being directed at me for my lack of blogging activity of late. So brace yourself for lots of pics, people. We'll start with Christmas.

The Walker girls on Christmas Eve. And little Emmalee. She's soooo cuuuuuuute!

Oh, my living room! I can't bear to look at it.

These are pretty much my favorite pics of the 2008 holiday season. Tiny Lucas being forced to portray the sweet baby Jesus in our rendition of that first Christmas night. I know, it oozes sacrilege. Don't tell ME. Talk to uncle Jim, who escorted him into another room and brought him out wrapped in swaddling clothes. And is it just me, or does our Mary look to be in surprisingly good spirits for having just given birth to THAT?

Hallie turns 9 and has a few girlfriends over.

Quick little trip to Bellevue. I hate this picture--grainy, dark, fuzzy, and I look like I'd just spent 13 hours in airports and on planes with only 8 hours of sleep in 2 days--oh, wait, I HAD!!! But it's the only pic I came back with, so it stays.

To compensate, here's one from my LAST trip there.
I think I look much better in this one, don't you?
I'm sporting my "90% humidity glow."

And I don't know why, I just like this picture. I'm allowed to like pictures of myself, right? Or is that too vain and self-absorbed? Oh well, I can own that. Might say I pulled a Kristi. The pouty lip: It's "The New Kristi."

Glad to see you are alive and that the kids are surviving. Bet you are hating your move now . . . winter in Utah SUCKS! I agree, your Nativity picture is hilarious. Poor Lucas!

Hello, Santa's bag fell open at someones house! What a haul! It was kind of hard to read though. The writing blended with the background. Maybe I am just completely out of things, but the young man in the bottom pics Does Not look like your brother!!! details please.

Sorry, Deb. I just fixed the whole font color thing. Was probably working on it when you were commenting. Ok, the young man...no, not a brother. A very dear friend who lives in Nebraska. I know, not nearly the dirt you were hoping for. Sorry...I'm just mysterious like that. Keeps the fans interested and on the edge of their seats.

Christmas was like . . . 6 months ago, wasn't it? ;)

Nice photos, nice pout, but seriously, puckering is much more fun than pouting.

Actually, it was one and a half months ago. Probably just seems like longer to you because of all the drinking. Puckering makes smoker wrinkles. Just wait...you'll see.
