I had a nice mom's day. The kids and I had a pretty tough morning (daddy pulled out of town for his out-of-state move, and the kids were a bit unraveled by it at first). So we decided to make it a good rest-of-the-day and enjoy each other's company. I continued with my mom's day tradition started last year and took some photos of me and the kids. I did some playing around with special effects on them, and I think they turned out kinda cute for self-portraits. A couple of them ended up with Hallie being cut off (oops, love ya Hal), but other than that, not too bad.
We also decided to take a drive to Patagonia and play at the dinky little park there. It was all fun and games until---you guessed it--Hallie did a lip drag on the play equipment and it was time to pack it up and head home. She took a nasty spill and was pretty traumatized. We just can't take Hallie to any out of town parks (reference our trip to the Grand Canyon last year and her major accident in the parking lot as we left the park we played at in Flagstaff). You may notice that Hallie and Ben are absent from the park photos. I never got a chance to take any of them before Hallie did her neat little trick. Anyhoo...I think the kids enjoyed the day, and I did, too. I love my kids and wouldn't trade being a mom for anything. Happy Mother's Day!

Those are some way cute pics! I can't believe you were able to take them yourself. We can't even seem to get good ones when we go to a professional. What a photogenic family!
Great photos Jacey! Can't believe you were able to take those yourself and get all the kids to look in the same general direction!!!
Glad you had a nice Mother's Day.
Jace, I hope you had a good mothers day, considering the circumstances. Your kids are darling. I cant wait for half of them to come up. And I don't know why, but ben reminds me of Braddock. Jim says the same thing.
Love you so much.
Darling pictures. I especially love the one with Lucas' belly hangin out. For some reason those couple inches of belly on kids is my favorite!
She can't wait for half of them to come up? Does she not like the other half???
Perhaps she doesn't, but I don't think that's what she meant here. My girls are going to Utah to visit my sisters for a little over a week. The boys are not. Get it? Half?
Great pics! Don't you just love the camera timers. I think you should go pro! °Ü°
I lost your blog for awhile...not sure why though, none of the links I had were working. Anyway, glad I found you again and glad you had a good mother's day! Those are some mighty fine pics! I'd never get pics that good with a timer!
I updated . . . you need to.
