Enough already! I give in to you nagging bloggers who keep bugging me about updating! Man, are you a pesky bunch. Some random pics from our joyous holiday. Mom, Jerry, and Alyssa came to visit (I have no pictures of mom or Jerry--oops). I have a good excuse--I was quite flat-on-my-back-under-the-weather over Christmas Eve/Christmas day, and so on, so I wasn't much in a picture-taking mood. Just took some of the kids so I could remember what Christmas day looked like after I came out of my fever-induced fog!!!
Anyway, here's what I remember about those couple of days: Nanna (mom) and uncle Jerry and Auntie Lyssa arrived (extremely late in the day on Christmas eve, mind you), and we had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of baked, stuffed shrimp (oh so NOT good for you), french fries, and caesar salad. On Christmas Eve, the 3 bigger kids put on a very short play for us--headed up by the oldest, who made sure everyone got together every day the prior week for "dress" rehearsals. Very cute, but lots of yelling on her part. Don't know where she picked up such behavior.
Christmas morning, we awoke VERY early to see what Santa brought, rifled through the stockings, then had our big Christmas morning breakfast before opening the rest of the gifts. The rest of the day is pretty much a blur.
One highlight: On Christmas Eve, in true last-minute-husband form, Scott brings out a giant box wrapped in plain brown paper with my name written across it in very large, all-cap lettering. Classic guy wrapping job!!! See pic.
Now, I end this post in hopes that I've satisfied you crazies who have been harassing me to no end about updating my blog! Done! Now I don't want to hear it for another 2 weeks---at least!!

Soooo, what was in the box? You can't just leave us hangen! By the way I love Ben's shirt! And it's ok that you just posted Christmas stuff, I haven't put up anything new in like a month, I guess I should get on that huh?
Ah yes, the box. It was one of those massaging chair pads that has heated massaging balls that go up and down your back. He done good! I love it! The kids have gotten more use out of it than I have as of yet, but I understand--you know, they have so much stress n all. They really need a good massage.
I loved the box wrapped by Scott! But, I must say, at least he wrapped it. Debbie gets some unwrapped presents every now and then. (did I spell everything correctly?)
Hey Jeffrey! Welcome to my blog! ('splain "Cobyflier") Probably some weird FBI call sign or something. Like Maverick and Goose in Top Gun. Nevertheless, let me say that your grammar here was simply, uh, sparkling. And you never need to ASK if you've made a grammar error. I'll always volunteer that information.
If I didn't know better and had actually sat in a chair with a massaging chair pad, I'd be REALLY worried about your description... ok... that was all =D
Oh my dear Lynette, I knew somebody would make that comment sooner or later (just figured it'd be Kristi). Congrats--you're farther in the gutter than she is! It's a dubious distinction, to be sure.
Ha! I was definitely thinking that! I sat in one too. My client has one but it is of the vibrating sorts, in fact I bought it with his Christmas money for him. I tried out one like you have Jacey but since he is older I opted for the vibrating one. It is a little gentler on the back. ;)
2 weeks? I will be bugging you to change your Christmas background and music!!!
Also, I love the "I still live with my parents" t-shirt.
I'm going to try to change that TODAY, Kristi. My sisters have already changed theirs, so I'm feeling like a slacker. Just gotta hunt down some colors and patterns I like. I won't lie...I'm vewy, vewy sad to take down my Christmas blog decorations. ...sigh...
Holy cow, this whole blog comment thing is turning more into like instant messaging or something.
Man, I'm bummed we were not there this year. I really would have liked to see the play the kiddies put on. I'm sure it was quite entertaining.
I thought the box was great that Scott wrapped. Sometimes Jim leaves my presents in the shopping bags still, or if they are small enough he will set them on the tree. RIDICULOUS! This year, I have to say though that he did much better than years' past. I actually had all of my presents placed in ONE BIG Christmas gift bag. I couldn't believe it. Hopefully he improves more and more each year. :)
Yes, saying nothing of that little gift he gave you of FINISHING YOUR LIVING ROOM!!!! Yes, I'd say he's improving steadily.
Wow jacey, your blog is so nice it's like I can't make myself leave!! The wallpaper, the music, the photos, the incredibly witty commentary! Oh wait, that's my blog.
Uh, no Polly, that's OUR blog. Nice try, though.
That Polly. . . what a smartypants. ;)
I just found the e-mail you sent me, I need to give you my other e-mail.
Your living room always looks perfect for Christmas. When we start having Christmas mornings here, I will certainly aspire to that.
I too love your new wall paper, although I was a big fan of your Christmas stuff. Looks like a fun Christmas! I can't believe Ben still lives with his parents...I wanted to buy that shirt for Cody too, but the funds have been depleted. Happy New Year!
Wow little miss Blog pro, I'm always so jealous when I look at your blog. It's waaay better than my amateur stuff.
Don't complain too much about other bloggers harrassing you since you harrassed me to get my blog up :P haha sometimes I need some reminders so I'll let it slide..
Your kids are beautiful, looks like a wonderful Christmas!!!
To answer your question, unfortunately no, they couldn't recover my pictures. I have about 800 backed up but it doesn't compare to my 1,400 that were lost. I'm really upset about it, but try not to think about it.
Hey, maybe I need to hire you for the job to remind me to back up my photos ;)
Happy New Year Jacey!!!
