Ok, technically, this is not me (the dummy in the bed OR the one standing up). But for those of you who are wondering why I have not posted in my usual frequent fashion---and also for those of you who couldn't care less---here's the latest...I'm currently taking a 3 week, highly intense (in terms of hours) nursing assistant course. The course runs full time, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm. So...if you're wondering why I don't blog so much, there you have it. I'm a tad overwhelmed with my new schedule. Between studying, taking care of 4 little kids, laundry, meals, errands, all day in class, and trying to get my house sold, with each day starting at 4am, I'm plain old pooped. But prepare to be wow'ed. Are you ready? Wait for it, wait for it!! Ready? Wait for it!! OK. We've had two tests so far, and yours truly is the only one in the class who's gotten a perfect score on both tests. Two words: Woo. Hoo. Alright. Horn tooting session complete. Unless, that is, I ace tomorrow's test. In that case, you may hear from me again very soon...stay tuned.
BIG P.S. Thanks, love, gratitude, love, appreciation, more love, to my wonderful amazing spectacular family and friends for making this possible for me. Without your help I would NOT be sitting in class all day every day learning to clean people's bottoms (and I mean that in a good way). Mmmmwwwaaaaah!

Jace I can't even tell you how proud I am of you!!! I am so glad you get this opportunity and that it is going well for you. You always were a smarty pants.
Wow, you had me fooled. I thought for sure you were the dummy in the bed! Ok, but seriously, you are (as Frasier puts it) "a first class smarty pants!" I love that show...
Congrats to you! You deserve a smarty pants trophy! And Jenna deserves a smarty pants comment award.
So what hospital will you be working at? (I don't want to die any time soon);)
Seriously, I am getting tired after reading your schedule. You must be Superwoman Smartypants! I think getting out in the working world will be good for you. I know it will be hard since you are not used to be away from your little ones, but it is fun to play with the big kids every once in awhile.
hugs to you.
Kristi,
This is totally off topic, but I had a strange dream about you last night. I went to a scrapbooking party (that's the strange part--I would never do that), and you were there and when I walked in, even though we've never met face to face, you knew instantly who I was. You immediately got in my face and were trying to show me everything you had made, like a 5 year old trying to show mommy what she did. At first I was so excited to finally meet you, but after you kept annoying me, the excitement wore off. Anyone want to analyze this dream? Bueller, Bueller?
Lol, that is so funny. I have taken plenty of psych courses so I can analyze this dream for you . . . I think it shows that I like attention, I go for the laugh, and I want to be noticed, and you have picked up on that, but seriously, when you meet me in person, you will see through all of that and see the genuine, really sweet and caring person that I am and you won't care how annoying I can be. And I am very aware of who I am and what my flaws are and I am not afraid to expose them. lol
Oh, and I am really fun. And I laugh a lot, even when I am having a bad day. So if you can put up with my annoying side, you will at least have a good time when you are with me. ;)
Yes, I think I already knew all these things about you. I just thought the dream was so strange. I guess what you're saying is that you're annoyingly entertaining? I can live with that, since I can think of one or two people who might describe ME that way.
Now do you want to hear about my childhood and all my insecurities? ;)
Shouldn't you be at school?
Oh, and I have cleaned my share of adult bottoms so we will have a lot to sit around and talk about someday. ;)
Oh congrats on the class and tests. Your schedule does sound very gueling! Add me to the cleaner of adult bottoms list. I loved my job though so I think we are all on the same page there! :-)
Whoooooa, there woman. I never said I loved cleaning bottoms! My kids, ok, I can handle that. But the idea of cleaning grown-up bottoms is not my favorite. I'll do it as part of the job, but LOVE is a very strong word. Vewy, vewy stwong.
OK-I realize I am an outsider, but I thought for sure you and "Kristi"
were best friends or something. You haven't even met the woman? How does that work?
Congrats by the way. School was never a strong point for me so it sounds like a really big accomplishment to me!
Ammie--Kristi's a blog stalker. I'm a blog stalker. Kristi "knows" Polly through mutual friends, but she and Polly haven't met, either. So somehow, I think Kristi stalked my blog through Polly's blog, and that's how she found me. Lucky her!! And yes, you might say we're best friends...best "blogging" friends. (o: Kristi's a peach. And what's with the "I'm an outsider" stuff? You're in the club, baby! You're almost as cool as I am, so you're in. (o:
Thanks Jacey..you're swell! I was assuming I was the only one not catching on to this mystery.
way to go, you are amazing! Keep it up.
I am always amazed with women who go back to school after being moms. I did this and know how much work it is. Way to go girlfriend! You ROCK! °Ü°
