I know I just posted last night, but every once in a while, when you're a mom, life just hands you one of those moments where you either have to yell, cry, or laugh really hard and take lots of pictures. What you see here was one of those moments for me this morning as we were getting ready for school. I chose to laugh and take pictures. I just couldn't help it. Here's how it unfolded...
B comes in and gets his cup of milk and spills some on the tile. So I wipe it up with a wet rag. O immediately follows him, grabbing her cup of milk and walking across the wet spot on the tile, causing her to slip. Somehow the cup full of milk goes straight up in the air and comes straight down on her head, dripping down onto her face, shirt and pants, and leaving big puddles on the floor. Who knew a little cup of milk could cover so much territory? As always, I made her suffer for a minute or two while I snapped some pictures. Pay close attention to the pic taken from the back--her hair is DRENCHED in milk. MOO.

That is too funny! Poor Livvi! I'm sure she just loved standing there while you took pictures too! She's still cute, even with milk dripping from her head!
Tell Livvi I am sorry, but I think she deserves it! No not really :)
That girl has such a stubborn personality though - the last picture says it all! I can imagine you laughing as you were taking those pictures and her just building up fury inside. What are you going to do with that girl?! I love her!
Hey I just read your comment, no he isn't crawling, yet. He just scoots around really fast. But I'm sure he will be crawling really soon!!
Okay, I am sorry it had to happen, but it is really hilarious! I can just picture the whole thing happening in my mind. Thanks for making me smile, or maybe I should thank Livvi. :)
Yes, laughing and taking pictures was DEFINITELY the best thing to do in this situation! Pictures like these are the rewards of motherhood and should be cherished, archived, and taken out for future fiance's.

I knew you of all people would understand about the Kodak moment, P. And you have to know that future opportunities for embarrassment were first and foremost in my mind when it happened. What kind of a mom would I be...
Awww, poor Livvi! Her face just has sadness and disappointment written all over it. And you can tell she's just thrilled that she is being photographed!
ooooooooo awwwwwww.......I like it. I'm glad you figured out how to do it because I would not have known where to begin with explaining it.
You chose some great colors!
As far as the header/fancy blog stuff goes, I think Darth Vader said it best when he said, "Impressive.......most impressive......"
